Get Updates on the Recovery of Wild Animals Under Our Care

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Please be aware that we currently have a large backlog of patient data that has not been entered into our patient system. Due to Hurricane Ian and its aftermath, we ran for an extended period without power and then for an even longer period without an internet connection. For these reasons and so many more, we are unable at this time to provide you with status updates.

We are working hard to remedy this situation and look forward to resuming this service.

Hello. We’re working hard here at The Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida to rescue, rehabilitate and release Florida’s wildlife.

If you are looking for any updates on a specific animal please email patientstatus@wildlifeswfl.org with the following information:

  • Date of intake
  • Patient ID Number (if you have it)
  • Your Name
  • Your Phone Number
  • Your Address
  • Address the animal came from (if not the same as your own)

If you do not have the Patient ID Number please provide as much information as possible about the animal(s) brought in.

Usually, we do not have much to update about until about 2-3 days after the animal(s) is brought in as it takes some time for the rehabbers to update the system.

Please note - we cannot give updates to a patient via a phone call. If you have e-mailed us already we ask for your patience as we are working as fast as we can to get back to you.
